BFAR Execs Goes to China to Talk on Technology Exchange
A delegation of 17 members of the Philippines’ Department of Agriculture headed to China for a Fisheries Technology and Training Exchange at Shenzhen Experimental Base of South China Sea Fisheries Research Institute. Launching of BFAR's Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan Contest
The competition for the cleanest coastal community was launched on November 17, 2016 at the BFAR regional office in Pampanga. The Malinis and Masaganang Karagatan (MMK) program by the DA-BFAR will award coastal municipalities for their efforts in protecting and conserving marine environments.
Fish Conservation Week October
Conservation week took place on October 17 – 22, 2016. The event included various activities which were headed by the different divisions of the regional office which included, Gender Sensitivity Trainings (GST) for fisherfolks and a seminar on Freshwater Aquaculture with emphasis on Tilapia and Ulang Polyculture.
